Dr. David D. Tran is a board certified emergency physician whose career exemplifies unwavering dedication to patient care, medical education, and systemic improvement within New York’s healthcare landscape. A graduate of New York University with a BA in Biochemistry and SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn with a Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Tran completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at SUNY Downstate.
His career began with significant contributions as an Assistant Professor at SUNY Health Science Center and Kings County Hospital Center, where he also engaged in pivotal research. Since 2004, Dr. Tran has been a stalwart of Northwell Health, serving with distinction across numerous emergency departments including Glen Cove, Plainview, and Syosset. His journey within Northwell reflects a profound commitment, evolving from a per diem physician to a respected leader.
Currently serving as Vice Chair at Northwell Glen Cove ED, and Medical Director of Glenwood EMS, Dr. Tran consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership.
