I am focused on the development of a health system that provides access to high quality care and that is financially sustainable. On a weekly basis, I work in the emergency departments at a busy trauma center and have remained dedicated to clinical care while serving in an executive function. One of my favorite aspects of being a physician is training residents and medical students, and I am privileged to have received two teaching awards.
Over the past 10 years I have held five different positions all within the same health system. I have learned valuable lessons from each role and each step has been a significant increase in responsibility. My current team consist of about 400 people responsible for clinical workflows, Epic clinical applications, Epic revenue cycle, biomedical device integration as well as provider experience. I am able to integrate the financial, operational, clinical and technological aspects of hospital administration in pursuit of my passion for improving the care of the underserved.
