Following a successful inaugural year, New York ACEP is excited to announce the second year of the Leadership and Development Fellowship, set to begin in January 2026. This program is tailored for early-career emergency physicians who are passionate about advancing emergency care and shaping the future of the specialty in New York State.
The 2026 Cohort Applications are now open through October 27th.
New York ACEP’s Leadership and Development Fellowship is designed for early-career members, typically 2-5 years post residency training, with interest in advocacy, program development and leadership. This fellowship provides participants with the knowledge, experience, and skills necessary to become effective advocates for emergency patients and influential leaders within the specialty of Emergency Medicine. Fellows will gain valuable insights into health policy, organizational leadership, and systems improvement, empowering them to shape the future of emergency care.


New York ACEP will cover related registration fees for Fellows to attend required meetings/conferences. Travel stipends will be available based on meeting location.
