What We Do

Promote New York ACEP issues to legislators
Provide advocacy education for residents, residency directors, ED directors and attending physicians Communicate legislative and regulatory issues at all New York ACEP forums
Develop clear messages to distinguish New York ACEP from national ACEP
Enhance New York ACEP leader representation at annual national ACEP Leadership and Advocacy Conference
Explore all available media technology to promote New York ACEP messages
Enhance legislative network of spokespersons.

The Government Affairs committee meets virtually from September–June on the third wednesday of each month at 11:00 am.
