24 Oct Julia Paris, MD: A 2025 Unsung Hero

Dr. Julia Paris has come to our department and has been quickly recognized as a leader. She has taken on the task of training colleagues through simulation but also taken the lead in reviewing cases for performance improvement. She has a keen mind for seeing the bigger picture and helps to both educate staff and see how we can continue to improve the care provided within the Emergency Department.

Dr. Paris is dedicated to both education and ensure quality of care. She leads both the education through simulation for our staff which tackles complicated cases or processes to ensure proper care and communication. She also helps lead reviews of cases to ensure that the patients in question received the best care and works to ensure ways to improve that care.

Recipient Bio:
Dr. Paris completed here residency at Bellevue Hospital and went on to complete a Simulation Fellowship prior to joining Northwell Health where she currently works as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
