Kimberly Ressler, MD MSN: A 2025 Unsung Hero

Dr. Kimberly Ressler is a truly dedicated physician whose compassion and commitment make a lasting impact on both her patients and colleagues. She consistently goes above and beyond to care for every patient with a big heart and genuine empathy, ensuring that families feel heard and supported during their most difficult moments. We are especially grateful for the time she devotes to helping children in our community pediatric emergency department, where her kindness and skill shine through every interaction.

In addition to her outstanding clinical work, she serves as an exceptional mentor and educator, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with residents and medical students alike – making her an invaluable and inspiring presence in our department.

Recipient Bio:
Dr. Ressler graduated from Duke University School of nursing in 1998, and from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2011. Received extensive US training in Metrohealth between 2011-2014. She also has a long list of presentations and awards.
She loves to travel, cross country skiing and spending time with her family.
Dr. Ressler has been a dedicated asset to Rochester Regional Health since 2014 and I had the pleasure of working alongside her since 2017.
