Serve as a resource for member inquiresContinue to promote a relationship with the Department of Health and other regulatory agencies to enhance policy development and review current emergency department issuesDefine and prioritize issues related to information technology; patient flow/throughput; medical liability; performance improvement; reimbursement and utilization reviewWork with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct to ensure that emergency medicine cases are reviewed by board certified emergency physiciansExplore opportunities for strategic alliances on issues of common concernThe Practice Management committee meets virtually from September‒June on the second Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm.
