New York ACEP invites junior emergency medicine faculty or faculty beginning to embark on a career in medical education to apply to join the Academy of Clinical Educators (ACEs).

New York ACEP’s Academy of Clinical Educators (ACE) is seeking applicants that are junior faculty or faculty beginning to embark on a career in medical education. This program will provide ACEs lectures with industry experts on how to become a well-rounded educator, as well as 6 exclusive hours with lecturers to address individualized questions and goals. 

ACE’s will also receive support in CV development, lecture development and mentorship. 

ACE Selection Criteria: 

  • Applicants should have interest in pursuing a career in Clinical Education.
  • Applicants must be a member of New York ACEP.
  • Applicants must be able to attend the 6 2-hour long program lectures, establish a mentorship relationship, and to attend the 2026 Scientific Assembly in person.
    • ACEs will receive a complimentary registration to the 2026 Scientific Assembly, pending fulfillment of all attendance and program requirements. Travel and Lodging is the ACEs responsibility.

Application: 

  • Applications close May 2, 2025
  • Applicants will be informed of acceptance or declination by June 2, 2025

2025-2026 ACE Dates:

  • Virtual Orientation, July 2 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • 6 2-hour virtual programs: Dates and Times To Be Announced and will begin in September 2025
  • 2026 Scientific Assembly: July 7-9th, Bolton Landing, NY.
