01 Nov Sarah N. Sonenberg, MD: A 2024 Unsung Hero
Sarah is a great teacher and mentor for our EM residents and medical students. She is always willing to take ultrasound to the next level and to teach her skills to others. We have gone through some operational changes coping with boarders and she has made herself part of the solution and has become a leader in providing the best care for our patients under trying circumstances. We look forward to this junior faculty member’s continued success in our department and her excellent clinical/teaching skills for our academic program.
Her compassion for her patients and her own expectation that she will always do a great job are some of her strengths. Sarah adapts to the clinical challenges that come up and takes the lead. Right from the start she has been an excellent academic faculty member for our EM residency program.
